Large thick sheet blister is one of the commonly used molding methods in plastic packaging containers. Two-step molding technology with thermoplastic sheet as molding object. In foreign countries, vacuum plastic molding is an ancient molding process. Due to continuous development and changes, highly automated, mechanized, and completely waste-free production is currently underway. 100% of raw materials are replaced by products, and the engineering of molding systems produced on the entire assembly line.

Introduction of large thick sheet blister

In the large thick sheet blister process, it can be divided into thick wall and thin wall according to the product raw material form (plate or coil). Thick-walled plastic suction means that the thickness of the raw material used is more than 2mm, and the plastic cannot be sucked from the fully automatic machine. It is necessary to use the processing and production technology of a special semi-automatic plastic suction molding machine for thick plates.

Large thick sheet blister products generally have the characteristics of large area, large height and thick material. The production mode of thick-walled plastic absorption and thin-walled plastic absorption products is similar, which is mainly formed by vacuum plastic injection mold. Most of these plastic products are widely used in various fields of people's daily life, such as automobile interior and exterior decoration, transportation, building materials, packaging, medical equipment, home appliances, cultural and educational halls, and sporting goods.

The principle of large thick sheet blister processing is basically the same as that of the regular blister process. The plastic sheet is cut into a certain size, heated and softened, and the air pressure difference or mechanical pressure on both sides of the sheet is used to cover the contour surface of a specific mold after deformation, and the edges are cooled and shaped to obtain the required products.

Usually used for thick plastic absorption of raw material sheet mainly HDPE, ABS, ABS TPU and so on. Let me briefly describe the basic characteristics of these three materials.

(1) HDPE (high density polyethylene) material: good heat resistance, cold resistance, chemical stability, rigidity, toughness and environmental stress cracking resistance. Main uses: bucket 200 liters, fuel tanks, pallets, large parts, yachts, plastic pallet covers, special packaging for most auto parts, etc.

(2) C Enonitrile-butadiene-styrene plastic (ABS) material: has good impact resistance, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, electrical properties, and is easier to form than HDPE, product size stability, good surface gloss, good pressure resistance. HDPE is more conducive to low temperature resistance, toughness and internal environmental stress cracking.

(3) ABS TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) material: ABS sheet process to join the special pneumatic process, in the ABS sheet surface coated with TPU film. Products using this material combine the mechanical properties of ABS with the abrasion resistance of TPU. The cost of this material is 2 to 3 times that of ordinary materials. Due to the high cost, the application of this material is limited.
