Because its production is based on gypsum mold, the manufacturing cost of gypsum mold is relatively high, but it is cheaper than aluminum mold. However, due to its smooth, durable surface and low cost, electroplated copper mold is a commonly used plastic suction mold.
3. Aluminum mold: we often say that the production of aluminum mold, in fact, is to use aluminum ingots through mechanical (including lathes, milling machines, CNC, etc.) processing,). Compared with other molds, aluminum molds have higher precision, smooth surface, and durability. Although aluminum molds are good, they are expensive. Aluminum molds are usually used for plastic products with high-precision requirements that copper molds cannot meet.
The choice of large thick sheet plastic mold has a great relationship with the number of products processed by plastic suction. What kind of mold is selected for plastic suction processing, products and other factors should be considered comprehensively. Of course, from the above three kinds of molds, it is said that the quality accuracy of aluminum mold molding products will be better than others, but the price is also higher.

The principle of large thick sheet blister is similar to that of thin sheet blister. Its principle is to heat the positioned sheet to a softened state through an oven, then form a closed space with the periphery of the blister mold, instantly remove the air in the mold cavity, make the sheet closely fit on the mold surface, and obtain the product by cooling and shaping. In the development of today's plastic industry, the use of large thick sheet blister is expanding. At present, the thickness that can be molded is also getting larger and larger. In addition, the mold opening time is very short (complex mold only needs about 15 days). The so-called thick sheet blister refers to plastic products that are large in size, complex in appearance, inaccurate in size requirements, and can be molded at one time.
